Barbara
Maher, Secretary of the Board of

Me
Barbara joined the Board in 1994 and has
served as its secretary since 1997. A
well known teacher in Palo Alto Barbara
has taught High School students as well
as blind and visually impaired children
for over 25 years. She currently works
as an inclusion specialist for the San
Mateo County on the autistic spectrum.
She is an avid reader and has traveled extensively in Latin America and Europe.
Her leisure activities include white
water rafting and gardening. Barbara
hosts the Annual Holiday Cookie Party, a
family tradition, which now she has
turned as a valuable instrument to raise
funds and gifts for children at MayView.
